Pie Eating Contest Held at Marie's Sept. 27

Marie's of Pueblo West joined in the fight to help handcuff childhood cancer!

At 2:30 p.m., on  Friday, Sept., 27. a pie eating contest was held out side the establishment. The contest was broken down into three age groups. Five and under, six on up to 14, then adults. Each contestant had the choice of a banana, chocolate or whipped cream pie.  

Prizes were awarded to the winners (and teams) who can eat the most pies in one minute (small kids) , five minutes (ages 6-14), seven minutes (adults)  and 10 minutes (team competition).

There were three teams which competed, Keller Williams, Marie's and the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.

The event benefitted the St. Baldrick's Foundation which raises funds for childhood cancer research. The SuperTeam PCSO donated all money made at this very deilcious event.
